I appreciate it gentlemen I know it is controversial about the sheen - but I didn't know the wire tubes, air cleaner, generator and vent were gloss black Thank you! Chris

Chris, there isn't much controversy over this among the guys who have spent years, possibly decades, researching stuff like this. Gloss black for things like spark plug tubes, air cleaners, oil breather, generator. End of story. Radiator was what I term a very light satin. Not really flat but not really a modern "satin". I know that's tough to translate. Sorry about that.

I know there is a lot of controvery about this - but what is aproximately the correct underhood black sheen for air cleaner / generator / wire chase, radiator etc. Im thinking a 60 or 70 sheen - but I have seen everything from flat to high gloss any insight would be helpfull thanks, Chris
