don't see how t could be connected, since antenna is behind headliner; thenwire goes over and down drivers side windshield post

The hole is already there. Can the lead be connected without the headliner coming down??

To install the original type of antenna; you will have to get the headliner out of the way; and drill a hole through the roof, need a template for this, should come with antenna, gotta get it right or antenna won't lay against windshield the windshield center bar correctly; don't ask how I know

What has to be done to install an antenna in a 38 closed car. Does the headliner have to be peeled back? Sure hope I don’t have to do that!
