Andy, I used the kit from Flat-O-Products. Their website is; www.flat-o.com. I think this is a better kit than the Speedway one. You will have to remove the center portion(riveted pieces) from the center crossmember and split the wishbone. You will also need to purchase the parallel leaf spring kit for the rear end. I would recommend the spring kit from Chassis Engineering; www.chassisengineeringinc.com. You can send me a private message by using the PM box on the upper right corner of the message box.

hi thanks for the reply the 30hp is just the name we england call the flathead.its the same engine. can I have a email address so if I go down this route i can pick your brains for any problems, also did you use the speedway kit? thanks adyv8 sarahwhetstone854@hotmail.com

Andy, I have done one and my neighbor has also done one. I am not familiar with the 30hp V-8 so I don't know if the conversion kit will work or not.

Flathead V8 to Ford C4 Auto Transmission Conversion Kit hi has anybody done this conversion? I have a 1935 v8 30hp v8 flathead english model. would like to convert to auto as a leg injury, has stop me using the the clutch pedal. thanks for any help ady england u.k.
