Hey Supereal, There was one of the valve micrometers on Ebay recently. It was new. It went for $100. They are a neat tool but of little use to me as I always go with solid guides and adjustable lifters when rebuilding a flatty.

There is a growing market for old tools, particularly the "official" Ford type made by K.R. Wilson. Recently, a very good friend on the East coast sent me the complete tool set used to measure valve stem length on flatheads. I hadn't seen one of those for many years. I don't know its value in dollars, but it is fun to have.

Harry, the one in a metal box is better, but either will cost over $100, or as much as $600 on EBay.

I was wanting to know about how much this item is worth? It is constructed in a wood box, uses two "D" size batteries.
