I have a 1940 Ford with a 3 (three) blade crank mounted Fan. Also have a 6(six) blade fan which I understand is correct. Anybody tell me the history of the 3(three) blade fan.?
Thank You.! Steve

The history of your three-blade fan? My guess? Someone modified a six-blade fan for some reason. No such thing as a factory three-blade fan in 1940.

Here's what I have. The 3 (three) blade fan does not look home made.? If it is, who ever did the work can come to work for me anytime. Did Ford offer this on any other Model, other than a '40 ? Since it is in my collection, I would like any additional info as to where it came from.? The 6 (six) blade chrome fan is the one that tried to come off.!! (Reference my other post.) The 3 (three) blade was on the car when I got it.?
Thank You.! Steve

That's home made for certain.
