I believe your water pumps are lubricated by engine oil no need to add a lubricant.

If you know someone with a machine shop, and they use soluble oil for cutting operations, buy a pint in put it in. Have been using it for many years.

I've always wondered, how can a water pump lubricant do its job if the seal is not leaking? I've always felt that if the lube is getting to the shaft the pump is on its way out. Just my opinion.

Trying “No-Rosion” for the first time in combination with 50/50 glycol mix in an engine with aluminum heads; fingers crossed that it helps to minimize electrolytic potential of dissimilar metals.

I have used Prestone Super Radiator Anti-Rust (AS170Y), ordered from Amazon. Haven't had any issues. It shows that it is currently available.

I have had the same problem. You might have to order it over the internet.

If you are using a good Ethelene Glycol Anti-Freeze like Prestone in a 50/50 mixture with distilled water, you don't need to use a water pump lubricant or anti-rust solution. If you are just using distilled water in your cooling system, you can use Johnsen's (Bowes) 4618 Radiator Anti-Rust and Water Pump Lubricant to provide rust/corrosion protection and lubrication.

Can anyone recommend a water pump lubricant which would be an excellent product to use in a 1952 Ford 239 cubic inch flathead V8 as a coolant additive? Conversely, are there water pump lubricants on the market which ought to be avoided?
