Even with the Model As, it's the body color that determines the pin striping color and the wheel color (unless it is a standard model in which case the wheel color was black unless the extra cost option of colored wheels was elected), not the other way around. In the case of '34s, when the wheels were colored, they were the same color as the pin striping when the body color was black, Dearborn blue, and Coach maroon, but not when the body color was Cordoba gray or Vineyard green and the wheels were also body color. In those instances the pin stripe colors were English coach vermilion and silver gray, respectively.

I rhought the pin stripe color was the same as the wheel color. Or did that end with the Model A?

Thanks for the reply. What you stated is what I recall, but wanted to confirm it.

For 1934 Ford Tudors, both standard and deluxe passenger car models, the correct color of the pinstripe for a black body is Tacoma Cream. 1934 Fords had three stripes with the center one being thicker. The center stripe was 3/32" wide and the two on each side were 1/32" wide with slightly over 1/16" space between the outside and middle stripes. The pin striping ran the belt moulding from the hood around the car.

I have a black 1934 Ford Tudor. Wanting to know the correct color, layout and size of the original pinstripe from the factory. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
