Recently aquired 40 pickup that was taken apart and wondered if there were any decent books or assembly manuals published that have photos of various component locations?

Good Morning-- Welcome to the Early Ford V8 Club. Go to the left side of your screen (dark blue part) and click on "Online Store". Then click on the "Ford Books" link. Although it deals primarily with passenger cars, definitely buy a copy of "It's Ford for '40". Excellent book - should get you started in the right direction. Tons of good information in it. My fellow Club members who own 40 Ford pickups will be happy to answer your email questions about your truck on this Forum. Don't be afraid to ask. They will also be able to help you further with any additional books or manuals that are specifically for pickups, that they have had good luck with. A final suggestion. You might direct your further inquiries onto the "1940 Ford" heading part of the Forum rather than the "General Ford Discussion" part. Either way, we're here to help. Good Luck. Tom
