You cannot mix mechanical with hydraulic discs.

You indicate your pickup is totally stock. Does that mean you still have mechanical brakes or do you have stock hydraulic brakes from a later model flathead?

That is not an easy conversion. You will have to convert your present system to hydraulic brakes with a dual master cylinder and install 2 modified front spindles. Get a complete kit if you can find one. Your present pedal assembly will have to be replaced or modified also. The conversion may need changes to the frame to accommodate the master cylinder or pedal assembly. I would seriously consider fixing the problems with you mechanical brakes as they will lock up all 4 wheels when working properly.

What do I have to do to put disc brakes on the front of my 1935 pickup that is totally stock? Thanks Mitch
