Got no responses to my"Parts Wanted" in this newsletter for a cowl vent bug screen for my 46 coupe. Those advertised by our usual vendors as correct for several years including mine - are not of original design for my car and are simply not correct in any way. Useless. Would appreciate al suggestions.

So you have tried all the usual places - EBay, Dennis Carpenter, MACS, Early Ford Store, LMC Truck, etc? Do you have enough of the original to use as a templet to make your own?

Bob Drake lists a screen for 1941-48 Car, P/N 21A-7002280, at $40.00. Is that one you have tried? I am interested, as I may have to replace the one on my '46 Coupe. It would be nice to know whether it was one of the poor ones, and it fit or not, prior to ordering.

Pdstark. Not realistic. It is more that just a flat screen that lays on top.

51 W00die Bought mine from C&G but it is in Bob Drake packaging. Just a flat screen - not bent down on both ends to accept horizontal screws from the flanges there. The flanges have screw holes and are as part of the body be used to for installing the screen.
