I HAVE A 34 FORD three WINDOW COUPE. what is the correct Body Number to use on Firewall Data Plate. I think it might be 40 LB 720 is this correct? And what size Charecters. Thanks. Stan White

Here is a picture of a body plate from a 1934 roadster. The body style is stamped to the left of the LB and the body production number to the right. Depending on which body company made the car, it may or may not have the "LB" You can approximate the size of the lettering from the size of the plate. I am not a 34 guy, so others should chime in here.

Yes, 720 is the correct body type number for '33-'34 three-window coupes.

That is the body number plate on my '34 roadster. I believe that I posted that picture some years ago.
