Read in a recent discussion it is important that only wire to batt or starter should be hooked to "Igni" post on ignition switch, and all others should go to accessory post. Looking at switch in my 46 I don't see the posts labeled. Suggestions please. Thanks

There are three poles on the ignition switch body. The yellow/black wire is the input. The wire to the ignition resistor is black/red, and the accessories, mostly the gauges, are black/green wires. This post may also feed a radio, etc, but most use the input connection so the switch doesn't have to be turned on to use the accessory. If you look carefully at the body, the pole names are molded into it. Both ignition and accessory poles are turned on together, so there is no great harm if they are mixed up, as long as the input is correct.

Thanks Supereal. I'm going to take a close look at the switch and hookup.
