I have aluminum heads and intake that appear to be original Ford with Ford printed on the heads with the water outlet in the front. Did Ford use these on some engines. Thanks Bob

I have 49 F1 with an engine equipped with "alloy" ie aluminum heads made in Canada so they were available for 49-53 trucks at least

The Mercurys built in Canada came with aluminum heads, Fords had cast iron. Cheers, Scott. 1949 Custom Tudor. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e42/35thLE/49016.jpg
