Get the brackets from Kube and then call around to the various V-V8 vendors to see if they have the visors in stock. Try C and G parts in Escondido.

Hi, welcome to the EFV8 Club Forum. I think that you might have shot yourself in the foot when you mentioned that you have a SBC and all of the other modifications in a '40 Ford, that said I will reply to your question. I am a little rusty on the '40 Ford PU visors, I do have knowledge with the '36-39. I live in So Cal and have quite a stash of EFV-8 and other marque' parts, especially accessory parts like visors, etc., I think a visor from a '37-40 Plym would work in your Ford, '39 58 Dodge trucks would most likely work.. The DPCD visor brackets do not require holes in the header panel. PM me... Bill

Paul, Do you still need the brackets? I have authentic and proper brackets / rods. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Hi Gang, I'm new to the group. I'm in California and have a '40 pick up. Small block 350, 400 tranny, Mustang II front end, Chassis Engineering rear leaf's, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Glide Engineering bench seat, etc. She's a daily driver. I need a couple of Sun Visor brackets and arms. Bob Drake tells me every 4 months to wait another 2-3 months. Seems like all the other vendors rely on Bob Drake. Anyone got a couple sitting in their garage they don't need? Or can I use a later years Sun Visor brackets and arms to make it work? Thanks, Paul
