I"m looking to purchase a new distributor cap, any suggestions where to buy a good quality one. It"s for my stock 1948 Ford 2dr sedan with the 239 V8. I have been using the crab style which I prefer.

So is it stock or are you running a '42 distributor? If it's stock, a good quality cap can be sourced at NAPA. If it's not stock, a NOS or NORS cap wuld be your best bet as has ben advised in a previous post.

Purchased 2 from ken ct., both units fit, perform well, and were reasonably priced.
