After thoroughly cleaning the engine block and installing new aluminum heads I found that the engine in my '34 was running too cool - it seldom got above 140° - this without thermostats. So, I decided to purchase a pair of 160° stats from Shewman. Now my engine runs fairly consistently at 160° - seldom gets above that number. I installed these stats about 3 years ago. I'm pleased....

I have had them in my 1941 for 4 years. They are great. No overheating. Highly recommend.

I'd like to hear any, and all, opinions on these thermostats; Good, bad, or indifferent
