Does the front bumper brackets split the frame or is the two supports on each side from the bumper suppose to be next to each other as it is bolted to the frame? Second guessing myself and never saw it prior to it being dissembled. Thanks

Well...I have always thought them to be split. That is how I have assembled all my front 37 bumper brackets. If others can validate this it would be good to know. gregg

I didn't install the one that is on mine but my observation is that it should be split. I am going to take if off an split it. It seems like it would be centered better on the outer metal and the rubber sealer would fit better because right now it can't push back because the two metal supports are too tight. Thanks just wanted to confirm my observation.

Yeah, the rubber sealer is made to accommodate the bars being about 1/4" apart.
