Hi All: Does anyone know of a shop that can cut early Ford drums in the NJ/NY/PA area? I'm located in North Jersey. Thank you, Tim

Hey Tim, I took the drums down to him. He found that they were out of limits so I took them home without anything done to them. I picked up a NOS set of drums so I'm good to go. Chuck has a good rep with most that I've talked to. Hof's over in H'town used to do my drums but since Johnny passed, they only do "modern" drums and rotors. They send their early drums to Chuck. Other than that I can't give you first hand experience. Too bad you're not still in Califon. I'd like to see your project first hand but I an following on the "Barn". You need to post pictures... Ken

39 Ken, Remember that it is good to take a cut to clean up NOS drums, especially if they have been stored sitting on their edge. Charlie Stephens

Thanks Charlie, That's exactly what we did. I got these from a friend and his machinist did a minimum cut to insure that the drums were true before the purchase.
