TuscanS - FYI - Ford labeled the body style of your car as 'Touring Sedan'....

TuscanS - You should be proud as that's a beautiful '37 you have. Ford's answer to 'Art Deco'....

MG- Ah not that difficult. This was taken at the Brooklands Winter Breakfast meet, a local petrol heads show and shine. She caused quite a stir there are not many 37s in the UK and even fewer in my part of town, I most probably have the only one. First time out on UK roads it was a fun driving experience.

Chris, start with two books. 1) The 1937 Ford book that has been put out by the Early Ford V-8 club of America. It can be purchased on the front page of this site form the "Online Store".2) The Ford Service Bulletins from 1932-1937. This book can be purchased from the various V-8 Ford parts vendors or may be available on Amazon. Also consider joining the Early Ford V-8 Club. You can join on the front page of this site under "membership". Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

Gentlemen As a new member I would firstly like to say h*llo from across the pond. Having searched the classic car magazines and the web for over five years I finally found my dream classic in LI New York, a 1937 Ford Fordor Model 78 Deluxe which I believe is a outstanding example of this beautiful car. The good news is she arrived safely in the UK in January the not so good news is I know nothing about this vehicle from a maintenance, restoration perspective. My question is simple where do I start with literature to educate myself. Chris B
