In The 37 Ford Book, picture of instrument panel on page 3-4, I see a control knob in the face of the panel to the right of the glove box, near the passenger's door. Is that a heater fan switch? The Book's section on heaters says the heater blower switch "attaches to the bottom flange of the instrument panel", so that seems to contradict the knob in question being for a heater. But I know there were many different heaters installed by the dealers, and there could have been many different ways the fan control got mounted. So is that what that knob is, a heater fan switch?

See pages A-30 thru A-35 for heater defrost control valves and various levers and cables.

The heat register cable knob is on the passenger side far right, and defroster cable knob driver side far left. Blower switch is to the right of steering column.
