Don't trust anyone, not even a once great company like Timken. I ordered/bought a Timken bearing from Timpken. Came in a Timken box but the bearing was stamped "FAG" which is a Canadian company. FAG's price for that bearing is $30 less than what Timken charged me.

Joe Lemelin - https://www.joesantiqueauto.com/ - will tell you if you call. I suppose all the suppliers will. joe sells a timken brand throwout bearing that I bought. made in USA. by someone else tho. after buying one from C&G which did at least put "made-in-china" on the packing slip. I emailed drake and was told theirs are made in Taiwan. be sure to read frank scheidts column, parts is parts in the V8 times. buyer beware.

Most of Drake's stuff comes from China. In fact, I'm not 100% certain but don't believe anything is made at his pace in Oregon. What say you Bob? Carpenter still makes a lot of what he sells right here in the USA.

Just as a point of interest, I have bought parts from some of the usual suppliers, BD, DC, Mac's, and had no idea where they were made, unless it was shown in their catalogs. I recently bought parts from Summit Racing for my '46, and attached to the invoice was a document showing the point of origin. Headlight and light bulbs: China. Turn signal flasher: Taiwan. C4 oil filter and G17 inline fuel filter, USA.
