Need to reinstall rear quarter window glass into channel (after repair) on my 1947 S DLX fordor sedan. Anyone have an idea as to thickness of tape required, IF, glass installation tape is the correct item to use in this application?

To determine the proper setting tape, measure the glass thickness, and the inside width of the channel. Divide the difference by two to get the correct tape thickness. Thickness tape is available in four sizes from C&G (800-266-0470) : 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", and 5/64'. The part numbers, respectively, are B-37193, A,B,C, & D We use a digital inside/outside caliper, but carefully measuring with a ruler will work.

THANKS LARGE! Looks like it'll be the 3/64.
