There is a snap ring holding the glass lens in place.

I’m having the same issue. I did get the snap ring off. I figured out that much. Now I cannot get the glass out. It is wedged tightly. Any ideas on how to remove the dome light glass? Thanks much.

Stuck glass try a suction cup to pull it down. Slightly warm the glass with a hair dryer.
