As a Followup to my query re selling my 1950 Ford: Has any one sold an antique vehicle via "Harwood Motors" in Macedonia Ohio? Was it a personally satisfying sales transaction? Thank you for any information or comments.

They sold my 37 Cabriolet and my 50 Crestliner last year. They did a fantastic job. Well worth the little money to sign up. You would be relieved of the hassle of advertising, setting up the shipping, and handling the paper work. Good luck, Pat Rooney

I'm considering Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, PA. Does anyone have any experience with them?

To "Pat's 52: Thanks for your response and information; that's sort-of what I was hoping to hear. How do they handle the title; i.e., is it required to sign over the title to Harwood at the time the car is listed with them, or at the time the sale is completed?

I live in UK and bought my '51 Ford Custom from them. Absolutely hassle free and very professional and friendly.

In answer to your question you do not have to sign the title over to them until the sale is completed. They will ask for a copy of the title when you sign up with them.

Reply to Pat's 52: Thanks, that news is good to hear. I was in a real quandary re signing-over the title before an actual sale and receipt of sale proceeds. I will soon be paying Harwood Motor's a visit; my wife already told me I had better not come home with another classic "I just couldn't resist"
