Thanks the new engine has new water pumps and far as the pan there is plenty of room on the 59A in the car /tie rod etc. and the EAB already has a truck oil pan , looks the same to me..sam

Also the top radiator hoses are smaller on the EAB as I recall.

The front motor mounts on the EAB engine would be different than the 59A, so it is a good idea to use the 8RT truck water pumps. You should also check the oil pan to tie rod and drag link clearance. You may have to change the oil pan. Those are the only things that come to mind at this time.

I have done this 60 yrs ago - I just don't remember. My plan is to replace my 59A in a 46 Super Deluxe with a fresh EAB so I can rebuild the 59A. So whats involved. The new engine does have a truck bell housing and a 'new 10" clutch = it should slide in the 46 right. Like I said I have done this but at my age i am blank....... this is the new engine.... Sam
