Hello, I've been told that the part I have is the top part of a Vintage Ford rear shocker mount, I have attached photos of it. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks. Cheers, John

It looks to me like a home made overload spring.

I agree with Cliff, someone's automobile engineering project about how to overload your car or truck.

Greetings, Since it does look home made, and if your looking for possibilities, MAYBE its an overload spring to keep the car level when you fill the trunk tank with moonshine! With a story like this, it could be worth a lot of money! Smile. 42oink
