Hello, I am in Tucson, AZ. Currently I have a 37 Fordor that I want to have wood grained (dash, window mouldings, etc.). My previous experience with s wood grain shop in Vermont was a disaster. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop on my side of the world? I hate to just Google it and try my next roll of the dice. Thanks for any help and am looking for a shop that people have good experience with. gregg

Yeah, its not left coast but try Juliano's in Ellington CT. Nice people to work with and they did the dashboard and windshield mouldings for my wagon. First class work

Call Lauren Matley at the Sun City West Metal Club...tell him Don sent you. I worked with him and he is a master woodgraining craftsman.

I switched to Honest Charley's a few years ago. He's now done five sets for me. Each set was done beautifully, at a reasonable cost and promptly to boot. Jonathan was wonderful to work with and provided me with great communication. With much respect, Lauren Matley had done numerous sets for me over the decades. However, the last couple of sets were no longer up to his earlier craftsmanship.

Hershey is coming up and there are always several woodgraining people set up with examples of their work. Might be an incentive to attend. I had the woodgraining for my '46 Woodie done by Grain It Technologies, evan@woodgraining.com, www.woodgraining.com, and they did a beautiful job.
