The flywheel bolts are a special thin head bolt that is drilled for a safety wire. Roy Nacewicz has them. The pressure plate to flywheel bolts and transmission bolts to engine do not have grade specifications from Ford. When you install the pressure plate, make sure that you use wedges to release the pressure on the clutch disc, so you can tighten them evenly without warping the pressure plate cover.

I would use grade 8.

What are the bolt grades for the flywheel, transmission mount to engine. I have a grade 2-8 spec scale. There is no description in the 41-48 book on this that I saw. Thanks
