I am new to the board with my first early V8 ford. A 1937 ford deluxe fordor It is a nice drivable car and I am anxiously learning all about it. Would someone please describe the light switch positions on the center of the steering wheel? I just got the car and am ordering an owners manual so i do not have any reference material yet. Thanks

I too do not have an Reference Guide for 1937 Fords in front of me, but the tabs - if straight up and down are lights off. The tabs rotate to the left or right -- these positions turn on the parking lights, the head lights and the high beams. I know that there are two clicks one way or the other, but not sure (without the Reference Guide). Once you get that, you will be surprised with all the information that it will supply for you. Hope this helps somewhat. I am sure a 1936, 1937, 1938 owner will add to this. Good luck with your vehicle and enjoying it.

Since you are a new 37 Ford owner you should also purchase the V-8 Club's 1937 Ford book. You can purchase the book from the front page of this site and it will give you all the information a new owner should have on their 37 Ford.

Hi Krypton, I just purchased a 37 Fordor Deluxe also, yet to be shipped to me. Perhaps we can share photo's etc. along the way. Mine is fairly original, in storage since early 80's. My other car is a Sedan Delivery. Probably never will be able to finish its restoration due to lack of parts, so it sits 80% complete. Thanks, Gregg
