Radiator splash pans are often used as an assembly that directs incoming air to the radiator to aid in cooling.

Take a look at 81A-8240-A or -B for the 38 Standard and Deluxe both have the two large holes.

Neither part is like the part I have, but thanks. It does, however, enjoy the same lower mounting holes as #8240 and has a crank guide hole that aligns with #8240 but the openings for air are 2 round holes about 4" in diameter. its a NOS part that still has the wire attached but no cardboard part# tag. You can call me at 908-347-5389 and leave your wireless number and I'll text you a pic. I'm sorry for late reply but I never thought to look for a reply till now. I bought it at Hershey with a #8240 from the relatives of an old Ford Dealer.
