have been digging around trying to find anything on the hoist you see in the following photos. Thought it was a Gar Wood but all the lit I find so far says no. Anybody here remember these or can identify them? I am trying to find literature on the one I have. thank you.

I have lots of photos of these things being used on 40-47 trucks including this one. Also saw one on a 40 International, that is why I thought they would have been from that era. May have been earlier, still like to find out the make so I can locate literature on them.

PTO is separate from the cylinder and has a small drive shaft that runs between the hoist and the truck transmission. The cables attach to the bed under the rails. No tags as of yet, waiting for better weather to do more cleaning.

I thought so but after looking through as many of the photos as I can find on the net none of the hoists they show look quite like these but I am not excluding them from the list. It does look somewhat similar to their early hoists but this one has a more modern look to the lower components and the 2 wheels.
