I have a 51 Ford F1 with one horn. Where do I obtain the other trumpet horn, the higher pitched one? Many thanks. Peter

You will have to find one at a swap meet or on eBay. I have restored a 51 and have owned it since about 1988, and I have never seen the optional horn. That doesn't mean there isn't one somewhere. I just haven't seen it.

Hi PeterFord, I have a trumpet horn. I bought it on Ebay thinking I would use it on my 49 F-3 pickup but I decided instead to go to a local junk yard and pull a horn off a current Ford F-250 pickup, it's not the same look of a trumpet horn but it works fine. The trumpet horn I have may be the same one you already have. It's a big horn. Let me know if you are interested and the next time I'm in the barn I'll take a picture of the trumpet horn and send it to you to see if it is what you are looking for. John PS: When I tested the horn it sounded very muffled. Upon taking it apart I found a wasps nest was completely filling the trumpet. Now it sounds a lot better.
