I've never had a 51 instrument cluster with bad colored lenses, so it may be unusual (or I may just be lucky). You can try eBay and see if a cluster is available. Or you could find some colored plastic and replace them. The high beam indicator is red.

I believe that the high beam indicator lens was red, not blue. Blue was adapted in the 1970's to conform with the non USA made vehicles.

I am rewiring my P/U. The speedometer gauge has two green "lenses" and one blue one, for the turn signal indicator lights and the high beam indicator. These little lenses are pretty fried after all these years. What material can I use to replace them so that they can withstand the heat of the little bulbs? Many thanks Peter
