Well I hope you enjoy. I thought it would be neat to try and recreate the photo of when we brought the truck home and now. Its close. The truck is complete minus a few minor things which I have a couple of questions. We actually got the bumper on after i took the photos so I will recreate it one more time when we get the mirror and wiper on. Well here are the pictures. Congratulations! Nice looking truck. I'm kinda partial to these... I've got one being restored myself. Hopefully it'll be done this fall. I hope your rear fenders were in better shape than mine. Lotsa work on those. Looks like the bed was in good shape too. I'm sure you'll both have fun with it. Bryan

Did you see the current issue of Vintage truck? There's a restored 37 with the stake body as a featured article. Very nice truck. Looks like you started with a decent truck.

Maybe someday mine will look half as good. I've decided to put the cable brakes back on mine. A previous owner installed juice brakes and they really cobbled it up. Worked on the king pins yesterday and I have the wrong replacement kit.

Wow nice work it sure is clean... I just bought a 37 firetruck and looking at the photos of your hood alignment is it normal to be off like that, mine is also off a bit to the point I was wondering was it the wrong year hood?
