Today, almost all gas contains some alcohol, even if the pump doesn't say so. It is picked up in transit, mostly, and today's multigrade pumps add some more. If you can't buy "regular" gas that is supposed to be non-alcohol, be sure your fuel system has been modified to replace non-nitrile rubber parts. One of the main problems with alcohol in gas is the tendency to have "phase separation". This happens when fuel is stored for long periods. Alcohol attracts moisture, such as condensation, and forms layers in the tank. If the fuel level gets low enough, the water is sucked into the system, and big problems arise. It helps to keep the fuel in the tank above 1/3 full, and to add some "Heet" or similar gas "antifreeze" occasionally. Heet is actually methanol, not ethanol, and will absorb the moisture enough for it to burn. Just don't overdo it.
