Can anyone tell me where I can go (book or otherwise) to find ALL the parts for the spare tire assembly for a 1937 Ford Pickup! I have part of one, but not sure what else I need to complete the unit!! Thanks!!! James A. Westbrook

You will need to post more details, such as year, model, and what parts you have, and which you need.

You don't list what vehicle, so this is a general answer. Get yourself a set of parts catalogs for what ever year vehicle you have. The illustrations in the Ford parts catalogs are very good. It shows you what you need. It gives the basic part number, you then go into the text part under that number, and it gives the complete part number depending on model. If you are looking for used stuff, use the illustation sections as a guide. The parts books are a great guide to anyone with a project going on. Invalueable info in there!! Barry

James, The spare tire bracket is a single piece held on by 4 nuts and bolts. Now I will make a deal with you, if you tell me what year and if you are talking about a rear or side mount spare I will give you the same information about my answer. Pictures available upon request Charlie Stephens

James: I finally located a photo of the '37 pickup. As you see, the wheel and tire covers most of the spare mount, but should give an idea of what the outer appearance is.
