I have a '37 1/2 ton Pickup in the process of restoration. I was curious as to the stock sized rim and tire sizes that Henry used. The rims on my truck are 15's with old school juice brakes. I like the look of the Coker white walls and am not certain what sizes would look best. I am not building a points truck, just a driver and want it to sit nice. What are you using?

A lot of people may recommend the Coker radials, but I got the Firestones from Coker. The radials are considerably more expensive. The Firestones seem to be high quality tires. They are 6.00 x 16. If I am not mistakened, Coker makes the Firestones. Richard

Thank you for your reply 51f1, I am also interested in finding out the tire sizes used by trucks in my series and if the 15" rims were correct for the '37. Additionally, is there a advantage to selecting a particular sized tire for looks, performance etc...

The stock truck had 16" rims. If you want a good look and fill the fender well I would use a 235X75X 15 radial wide white. If you have a dropped axle in the front I would use a 205X75x15 or a 215x75X15 radial wide white.
