No, they are not. The F-1 wheel opening is probably two inches smaller than on the fenders used on models F-2/3/4/5/and 6. These bigger models had bigger tires so the larger wheel opening allowed clearance. The fenders will mount the same, and there are custom half tons out there with big fat tires that use the bigger fenders, but it's not as original. The fenders used on the F-7 and F-8 trucks are, however, entirely different. Much wider overall. Stu

I asked this question in the general forum, maybe it should have been posted here? Are front fenders on a 49 one ton the same as a 48 half ton? Thanks, Rod.
