I am getting ready to install bumpers on my 41 1/2 ton pickup. are there any other bumpers that will fit? I am building a mild custom so I don't mind welding on studs and creating ones that will fit. I basically haven't modified anything that can't be put back to stock in a few hours. Any thoughts?

There used to be a company called Briz Bumpers that made custom bumpers. You could drill your own holes to fit your irons. Not sure if they are still made or not. Trying to drill a spring steel bumper iron to fit another bumper can be a tough proposition. You might check 41 Ford bumpers or 39 Ford bumpers to see if they may fit.

I recently looked up the frame dimensions and the 35 through 40 cars and 40 and 41 pickups have the exact frame, so I guess I answered my own question. I found 37 bumpers in great shape.

If I remember right, the front bumper is the same as the car but the rear is different and I don't know if any other pickup year will work except the 1940 pickup.
