Has anybody successfully mounted hidden hinges in the doors of a 1940 pick up truck? If so could you possibly tell me what brand they are. I bought some and am half way thru mounting but they do not look like the geometry is correct to have it swing the door out enough at first to clear in the front.

This site is oriented towards restorations. Unless hidden hingers were an option in 1940 that I haven't heard about you might have better luck with your post at: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/ Good luck with your project. Charlie Stephens

Welcome to the club! While I CERTAINLY agree with what Charlie said, (and don't tell anybody I said this) check with Steve Dimarco over in Clinton NC at Carolina Custom at 910 564-6123. He's a nice guy who might just have something you could use. 42oink P.S. I have been known to stray myself.
