Been looking for a new toy. What do you guys think of this 51 Mercury? See anything I should be concerned about? http://volocars.com/1951-mercury-sport-sedan-four-door-c-5435.htm#sthash.uiy8ypBz.dpbs

I would suggest that you inspect the car in person as photos usually make a car look better than when you see it in person.

The price looks right if that car is as nice as described. I don't think the upholstery is the original style or color, but it does look nice for a driver. Go look at it and if it drives good make an offer.

Just a thought. Looks pretty nice and Volo has been in Hemmings for quite a while. Check the brakes! Hard to stop that much iron and when they say they've been redone...better off checking. And is there a reason the temp is pegged hot or is this normal when shut off? Good luck and let us all know either way.
