That's a possibility that I'll look into!

Perhaps the wires or connections on the sockets are reversed.

hi Steve Lee I would start by checking the grounds on the lights, temporary run a another wire from light socket to a ground, see if this make a difference also check the contacts on the bulbs, and sockets, hope this helps 37Ragtopman

With no lights on, the signal lights, L and R, blink nicely. But when I put parking lights on, or headlights on, they blink weakly. The turn signal system is Factory from Ford, and I'm running on a 6 volt system. I just got back from a 20 mile ride, so the battery is not down; because I also wanted to re-check the (2) idle mixture adjustments; so I turned the key on, pushed the starter button, and it started back up instantly! When I pulled back in the garage I thought I would just check them, because the ride was in the daylight;, and I wanted to be assured that people were seeing them when I made turns. What's up wth the signal lights that causes that???! MY MISTAKE- THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE GENERAL FORD DISCUSSION! Regards, Steve Lee
