I have acquired a nice set of running boards for my 40 Sedan. I also have a Bob Drake welt for the boards. I am not sure how to install the welt, or how the ends of it should be addressed. Also, should I glue the welt to the boards before I attempt to install them? Thank you all in advance!

The anti-squeak material (obviously) goes between the board and the frame rail. The bead goes upward. It may make it a bit easier to install by applying a dab of glue here and there to the material. Originally, the ends were simply cut off - no "finishing" was incorporated at all. Mike Kubarth
