I purchased a vent window seal for a 40 Tudor standard and it looks like they need to be trimmed around where the top hinge and the part where the latch goes,is this correct. And would you have a picture of a vent window that you have done. The seal came from Carpenters. Thanks very much Ronnie

I've never found the need to trim. My only advice is to be certain your seal does in fact need trimming. Who's kit is it?

I have used his and never had an issue. However, the last '40 convertible I'd restored was in 2008. A lot of things (quality / the lack of) has changed in that time. Perhaps a photo of the dilemma you are facing?

I haven't tried to fully install them yet, they just looked like they may need trimming before I tried to install them and have to take them back apart. Didn't know if you had to do any trimming before you installed them. If they don't work I will send you a picture. Thanks for the information.
