My .02¢? I like to powder finish when feasible. "Feasible" to me means metal that is straight and free of pits. Powder finishing holds up so much longer than paint, is easier to clean and much simpler to apply than paint on items like frames with all the angles, pockets, etc.

What are your thoughts on paint vs powder coating of chassis components?

Mike, I happened on a photo you posted on the subject of engine color. The picture showed an incomplete engine on the frame. My question is was the frame painted or powder coated? To me, it looked too good to be paint.
