Is there anyone out there making cardboard kick panels as well as the complete cardboard trunk liner panels for '40 Ford Sedans? The major Early V8 parts sources don't show them in their online catalogs. Appreciate any leads. Thanks, Mike in Texas

I am not aware of any current suppliers of these pieces. If you have the old ones for patterns, I'd suggest you go to a hobby store (ex: Michael's or Hobby Lobby) and buy the heavy cardboard used for picture framing. You will not be able to obtain the correct pattern but can deal with that in ways respective of the piece if you should so desire.

You might check with Cartouche. https://www.macsautoparts.com/cartouche-classic-ford-upholstery?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=Cj0KCQiAuvOPBhDXARIsAKzLQ8FgznGko-VxcCywB4g6ut0n98o4taxq_MDUaOQiiuV_LwefwDYG5bgaAvyZEALw_wcB

Cartouche does have the panels. I purchased some for a '40 coupe. The cardboard is thinner than original and you may need to trim them for a good fit. If you make your own from your original patterns the panel board from Hobby lobby will probably be big enough for your tudor. It is not big enough (length) for a coupe for the trunk panels. If you order from Cartouche be prepared for a possible wait to get them if they are not in stock at the time of your order. To my knowledge they are "the only game in town".

Local upholstery shops may have access to the correct pattern and may have the heavyweight moisture resistant card board on their shelf. If you are looking for abs panels, try : https://collectorsautosupply.com/ They make them for the 1940 Mercury. Tom
