I have to know the destinations of the two lines in the rear, and the origin of the line to the rear at the operating "valve" on the dash. There are two ports on that valve and I want to know which one gets the tubing from the tee at the wiper, and which one gets the line to the rear of the car. I can figure it out with a lot of trial and error, but if the cannisters in the rear don't work, I'll be lost on that end. Someone in the club must know this info, which would save me a lot of time and trouble. "Kubes" had told one member on the forum that he "Had a diagram and could dig it out if he had to." Someone with a 1940 convertible could look under the dash and tell me that line info, and under the rear seat and give me that info.PLEASE!!!
Regards, Steve Lee

I don't have the 1940 body book. Can anyone send a diagram to show the lines origins and destinations??

Here's a "live" photo that should give you an idea of how the lines were authentically run.

It is printed in the 1940 Body book. The 2 metal lines drop down behind the drivers side kick panel, angle across the floor just behind the brake fill cover, run along the drivers side of the trans tunnel and go through an opening on the drivers side of the wood piece the rear seat cushion sits on. This is obviously under the floor mats.
