Here are pictures of two different type designs of the 40-41 Ford front stabilizer links. Can anyone tell me if the cap end design are of a rebuildable type.

The swivels shown are for the later 40 stabilizer design. They are not rebuildable.

I was told that the very first front stabilizer design for the 1940 ford was recalled in January 1940. In the picture which I posted it shows two different types or designs , the ones with the bulging end caps look like they may be re-buildable? Domenic

I don't believe either type were intended to be rebuilt. Rather, when worn, they were replaced as a unit.
