Topic: Etched Glass Identification Logo's or Bugs

This question is concerning the glass identification, etched window logo’s or window bugs, whatever they may be called. I have 1935 Ford Phaeton and I was wondering if all the windows had logos or bugs? There’s the windshield, the two wind wings and the window in the convertible top in the rear? Were the windows clear or tinted? Were they laminated or tempered and their thickness? Where were the etched logos’s located at, especially the wind wings?
Thanks, Kenneth

Sorry, I put this thread in the wrong spot. But if you can help me out please feel free to reply.
Thanks,
Kenneth

Try Roy Nacewicz/ Carlton Glass at www.fordscript.com, he has a pretty detailed description of the "bugs" . Also the V-8 Club offers a 1935-1936 Ford book that is very detailed.

windshield, and the glass in the rear window, all have the bug. Laminated safety glass in all. The rear window glass is only about 1/4" thick. Suggest you post on the regular discussion form and maybe Don Rogers can post about the wind wing glass bugs and more details about the rest.
