  Which is correct? The left one has 7222 with a 4 above it.The emerg. brake bracket boss is flush with the pass. side of the cover. The right onlly has an underlined 4. It,s bosses extend outward about 1".

  That on the left in your photo has been modified and it is unlikely that a hand brake assembly would clear the transmission case. That on the right a typical stock '32 shift lever housing.

  Again, thank you. Originaly the bosses were not drillef & taped. That explains the extensions.
